Quite unexpectedly to the right of the path
there sits a small structure
with the look of a stone beehive.
This is the first of the mysterious artworks.
Over the next hundred metres,
on both sides there are other installations
built from natural materials:
wood and straw,
small local sandstone blocks.
New works are said to appear
at irregular intervals.
It is not known who the artist is,
but a letter "E" formed from stones
to the right of the path
could be a signature.

Past the mystery artworks the pathway levels out
and joins a tarmac road close to Cefn Cantref.
The onward route towards the Beacons
is directly ahead.
